How To Select a Tennessee Home Care Company
Tennessee is fortunate to have available home care services and products in all 95 counties. The members of the Tennessee Association for Home Care agree to abide by all applicable state, local and federal rules, as well as a Code of Ethics.
TAHC Code of Ethics:
The membership of the Tennessee Association for Home Care, Inc. having agreed that its common goal is to provide the highest quality medical, social, supportive services and products to the aged, infirmed and disabled agrees and endorses the following principles:
| To observe the TAHC patient rights and responsibilities creed, ever mindful to preserve the basic rights of patients and to deal with them in an honest and ethical manner. | |||||||
| To honestly and conscientiously cooperate in providing information about referrals and work as a part of the total health care network to assure comprehensive services to patients and their families. | |||||||
| To ensure quality, quantity and timeliness of services and products rendered at a cost effective and fair price. | |||||||
| To promote the home care industry by sharing honest information about services, benefits, cost and provider capability. | |||||||
| To equally employ only qualified personnel and provide supervision, continuing education and reasonable rates of pay to all employees along with written, uniformly applied policies and an on-going evaluation process. | |||||||
Having pledged to provide service in a professional dignified and conscientious manner, to comply with all community, state and federal regulations, to work together to establish the highest level of public confidence and to adhere to the Code of Ethics of the Tennessee Association for Home Care, Inc.

The following are lists of current members of the Tennessee Association for Home Care. These lists are generated weekly (on Friday), however, because our membership year begins July 1, the number of members tends to drop at that time, then as members renew, the numbers increase to normal levels.
